In addition to full body and extremity chiropractic care, Dr. Colleen’s clinical focus includes working with infants, children, and mothers during pregnancy. In addition, Dr. Colleen has become the leader in cranial sacral adjustments for all ages.
Dr. Colleen Wood grew up in Dighton Massachusetts. She spent her summers enjoying the beaches on Cape Cod. A devastating car accident in 1986 abruptly changed the course of her life, and she eventually ended up in a chiropractic office after years of suffering from severe neck pain and migraine headaches. This is where she realized her desire to help others could be accomplished through the natural health care of chiropractic.
She then began her undergraduate studies at Quincy College in Massachusetts and later attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
After her graduation in 1997 she joined her husband, Dr. Kevin Wood in their family practice and what is today, Wood Family Wellness. Drs. Kevin and Colleen have two sons, who are both integral members of the team and share in their family mission for complete health.
Dr. Colleen has a deep love for family and enjoys helping young mothers with their newborns and children.
